Announcements Of General Interest to Coaches, Schools, and Officials

Member schools must submit announcments through the TSSAA Portal. Out-of-state parties may send announcments to tssaa@tssaa.org. Announcements will generally be posted/approved within 48 hours. Announcements are automatically removed after sixty (60) days.

NOTE: Announcements concerning play days, preseason tournaments or 7-vs-7 passing leagues/tournaments will not be posted. Also, keep in mind that TSSAA Bylaws state that all sports must practice a minimum of three (3) days from the first allowed practice date before working with another school.

Girls' Basketball
Bradley Central High is looking for one team to complete the field for the Holiday Inn Express Thanksgiving Tournament November 23-24. New Hoover High School (Hoover, AL) 16 hours old

Baseball
Covington High School will be hosting the Best of the West varsity baseball tourney March 18-23.Games will be played at Covington High School, Munford High School, Collierville High School, USA Stadium, and several other high school fields.Play as many games as you want and pick your days.Cost is $250 - 4 games. $300 - 5 games$350 - 6 games.Last year, they had 30 teams from 6 states. Covington High School will be hosting their Annual JV Baseball Tournament March 11-16. You can play any number of games on any specific days if requested. Covington High School, Germantown High School, Bartlett High School, along with other local Shelby County schools are once again hosting the Lewis Harris Invitational March 11-16, 2019Entry fee will be $80 a game, (cover umps).  If you are interested send Casey Calloway and Josh Stewart your game requests (which days, how many games, special circumstances, etc.): callawayct@scsk12.org or jstewart@bartlettschools.org.
Lawrence Co. High School and Summertown High School are hosting a tournamentApril 11-13. Games to be played at Lawrence Co. High School and Summertown High School. Entry Fee is $250. Ripley High School is currently looking for teams to participate in the 2019 Aaron Schuh Memorial Tournament March 11-16, 2019.  Flexible scheduling and doubleheaders are available.  There is a four game guarantee and the entry fee is $250.  However, teams can play less than four games ($70 per game). If you are interested, please contact Jake Ramsey: (731) 414-9561.

Wilson Central High School is hosting the 16th Annual Wilson County Invitational Tournament March 21-23. Other host schools include Mt. Juliet, Lebanon, Watertown, and Friendship Christian. Beech High School needs one more boys' team and one more girls' team to complete the field for their annual Christmas Tournament December 20-22.  The tournament will feature eight boys teams and eight girls teams. Rockvale Middle School will be hosting their 2018 Rockvale Tip-Off Tournament November 6-10, 2018. Each team is guaranteed at least two games with the possibility of a third game.
