Announcements Of General Interest to Coaches, Schools, and Officials

Member schools must submit announcments through the TSSAA Portal. Out-of-state parties may send announcments to tssaa@tssaa.org. Announcements will generally be posted/approved within 48 hours. Announcements are automatically removed after sixty (60) days.

NOTE: Announcements concerning play days, preseason tournaments or 7-vs-7 passing leagues/tournaments will not be posted. Also, keep in mind that TSSAA Bylaws state that all sports must practice a minimum of three (3) days from the first allowed practice date before working with another school.

Coffee Co. Central High School will be hosting The Red Raider Invitational Christmas Tournament December 19-21, 2019. If you are interested or need additional information, please contact Head Coach, Micah Williams: williamsm@k12coffee.net.
Collierville High School is hosting their one day, one game shootout December 20, 2019. Games will be played in their new 3,200 seat My Town Movers Fieldhouse. Girls' Basketball
Beech High School is looking for teams to complete the field for the annual Beech Christmas Tournament December 19-21. The tournament will feature an eight team bracket with a three game guarantee. If you are interested, please contact Kristi L. Utley: Kristi.utley@sumnerschools.org.
Bradley Central High is looking to fill an eight team field for the 20th Annual Holiday Inn Express Thanksgiving Tournament November 29-30. Sevier County High School  will be hosting the 2019 Winterfest ShootOut Girls Basketball Tournament December 27-30. The tournament will consist of two eight team brackets in which teams play three games. In the past they have hosted teams from all over Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and Georgia. Cleveland is centrally located between Chattanooga and Knoxville and offers quality lodging and dining for tournament attendees. NO ENTRY FEE. Heritage High School will be hosting a Christmas Tournament December 20-22. The first day of games will start at 4:00 PM and will be played at both the middle and high school gyms (on the same campus). The two following days will have games only at the high school gym, games starting at 9:30 AM. There is a $200.00 entry fee.  The city of Maryville, TN, is close to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame (in Knoxville) and also close to a variety of tourist attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg (including the theme park Dollywood). Currently, they have spots for eight boys’ team and eight girls’ teams.
