Announcements Of General Interest to Coaches, Schools, and Officials

Member schools must submit announcments through the TSSAA Portal. Out-of-state parties may send announcments to tssaa@tssaa.org. Announcements will generally be posted/approved within 48 hours. Announcements are automatically removed after sixty (60) days.

NOTE: Announcements concerning play days, preseason tournaments or 7-vs-7 passing leagues/tournaments will not be posted. Also, keep in mind that TSSAA Bylaws state that all sports must practice a minimum of three (3) days from the first allowed practice date before working with another school.

Boys' Basketball
Gallatin High School is seeking one team to complete the field for the 20th Annual BodyGuard Sports Medicine Christmas Classic December 15-16. Since this is a late opening, they would consider taking a team for one night only on December 15 as they may have a team for December 16. Girls' Basketball
Farragut High School is seeking two teams to complete the field for the FHS Admiral Thanksgiving Classic. The time slots would be November 20 at 7:30 pm and November 21 at 6:00 pm. Muhlenberg County High School (Greenville, KY) 25 days old
Muhlenberg County High School is looking for two teams to play a game in their Lady Mustang Classic on December 16. They are located in Western Kentucky about an hour northwest of Bowling Green & 40 minutes south of Owensboro. If interested please contact Coach Mike Harper: mike.harper@muhlenberg.kyschools.us.
East Hamilton High School is co-hosting the 2017 East-West Classic and looking for one team to complete the three day schedule. The current opening is for a team to play on December 8 and 9. Fayette Ware Comprehensive High School is looking for two boys and two girls teams to complete the field for the annual Larry Ransom Holiday Classic December 29-30. South Greene High School is looking for one boys and one girls team to complete the field for their Thanksgiving Classic November 21, 24-25. Tournament format is round robin and you will be guaranteed three games, if you want three. They have some schools electing to only play two games.
