Announcements Of General Interest to Coaches, Schools, and Officials

Member schools must submit announcements through the TSSAA Portal. Out-of-state parties may send announcements to tssaa@tssaa.org. Announcements will generally be posted/approved within 48 hours. Announcements are automatically removed after sixty (60) days.

NOTE: Announcements concerning play days, preseason tournaments or 7-vs-7 passing leagues/tournaments will not be posted. Also, keep in mind that TSSAA Bylaws state that all sports must practice a minimum of three (3) days from the first allowed practice date before working with another school.

Camden Central High School is looking for a few more teams that are wanting to play in the 2021 Tennessee River Classic at Camden and Waverly March 15 - 20. Cost is $75.00 a game and they will schedule as many games as you want. Will work with each school on their schedule. Two hour time limit. Game balls will be provided. Chattanooga Central High School will be hosting the Chattanooga Central Invitational March 31 - April 3rd , 2021. There is a four game guarantee, weather permitting. Tournament format is pool play with the top two teams advancing to the semifinals. Entry fee is $320.00. Practice facilities available. Covington High School will be hosting the Best of the West varsity baseball tourney March 22-27, 2021. Games will be played at Covington High School, Bartlett High School, Munford High School, Collierville High School, Houston High School, USA Stadium, and several other high school fields. Play as many games as you want and pick your days. Cost is $250 for four games; $300 for five games; $350 for six games. JR Arnold High School (Panama City Beach, FL) 29 days old

JR Arnold High School is hosting a tournament April 5-9, 2021, at their complex one mile from the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Games run Monday through Thursday with a rain date on Friday. Lawrence Co. High School and Summertown High School will be hosting the Heritage Automotive Classic April 9-10, 2021. Four game guarantee, but they can accommodate any schedule request. West High School will be hosting the West Spring Baseball Classic March 25-27, 2021 and the Dr. Lynn Weaver Memorial April 1-3, 2021. Girls' Softball
Gallatin High School is hosting their annual tournament, Griffin Classic, April 22-24 at Triple Creek Park. The tournament will contain a maximum of 20 teams. Price for Thursday through Saturday is $290. Price for Friday/Saturday only is $275.
Zion Christian Academy, a Christ-centered, college preparatory school for students in grades PreK-12, will be hosting their 1st Annual Zion Booster Club Softball Tournament March 19-20, 2021. They are looking for five teams to join them for this tourney. All games will be played at the Zion field. There is a three game guarantee. The entry fee is $250.00. On Friday, each team will play one game. The teams will then be placed into a double-elimination bracket for Saturday. JR Arnold High School (Panama City Beach, FL) 12 days old

JR Arnold High School will  be hosting the Visit Panama City Beach Marlin Christmas Classic December 28-30, 2020.  This tournament is sanctioned by the FHSAA and will feature 16 teams (eight boys / eight girls). Come experience the world's most beautiful beaches with your team! There is a three game guarantee and the entry fee is $250. Kenwood High School is looking to fill an eight girls and boys team field for the Zaxb'ys Holiday Tournament December 28-30. The tournament will include a bracket style playoff with each team guaranteed three games in three days. Sevier Co. High School is looking for boys and girls basketball teams to compete in the 2020 Winterfest Shootout, December 28-30. All teams are guaranteed three games. Watertown High School will be hosting the AFLAC Christmas Tournament December 28-30. No entry fee and a three game guarantee.
