Announcements Of General Interest to Coaches, Schools, and Officials

Member schools must submit announcments through the TSSAA Portal. Out-of-state parties may send announcments to tssaa@tssaa.org. Announcements will generally be posted/approved within 48 hours. Announcements are automatically removed after sixty (60) days.

NOTE: Announcements concerning play days, preseason tournaments or 7-vs-7 passing leagues/tournaments will not be posted. Also, keep in mind that TSSAA Bylaws state that all sports must practice a minimum of three (3) days from the first allowed practice date before working with another school.

Boys' Basketball
Cleveland High School is hosting a team camp June 11-12.  Teams will play two games per day.  Cost is $175 for Varsity, $125 for JV($50 Non-Refundable Deposit). All games will have two TSSAA officials. Concession stand will be available.  Games will be played at the new Raider Arena at Cleveland High School. Extra games can be added upon request. Creek Wood High School will host a high school boys team camp June 4-5 (Varsity, JV or Freshman) at a cost of $35 per game and a middle school boys team camp June 11-13 at a cost of $250 for nine games. Please contact Head Boys Coach Charles Taylor: ctaylor@dcbe.org or (615) 948-2689.
DeKalb County High School will be hosting a team camp on June 19. Looking for eight teams to compete in a tournament style format. Each team will play three games. Cost is $120. Varsity only. For more information contact Coach John Sander: (615) 489-7253 or thecoachsanders@gmail.com.
Forrest High School will be hosting their Basketball Team Camp June 11-13. Cost is $40 per game requested. Games played in two air-conditioned gyms and will consist of four (10 minute) quarters. Gallatin High School will be hosting their 21st Annual Team Camp June 13-15. This camp is open to Varsity, JV, and Freshmen teams. All games are played according to TSSAA rules except they use a 10:00 running clock per quarter and there are no foul-outs. Cost for the camp is $50 per game and they can schedule to fit your time frame and level of competition. Karns High School will host a team camp June 5-7 for both Varsity and JV teams. They will accept 20 teams on a first come, first serve basis. The cost is $220 for three days or $155 for two days. Oakland High School is hosting their 13th Annual Boys’ Basketball Team Camp June 7-8. The camp will be played at Oakland and at various campuses in the Murfreesboro area as well as Lebanon. Each session is set to begin at 8:00 AM and games will be played through 8:00 PM. Cost is $300 for varsity (six games) and $200 for JV/Freshman (4 games) with more or less games available upon request.  They will do their best to meet all of your scheduling needs to make the camp the best camp possible for your team. Due to the rising costs of team camps at universities, they wanted to offer you an alternative that was both cost efficient and gives you a chance for your team to get better. They hope to have teams from all classifications compete to offer various levels of competition and styles to play against. Year in and year out they have state tournament caliber teams participating each summer. They use only certified TSSAA officials for all of our games. Siegel High School is hosting a Middle School Boys' Basketball Team Camp May 31-June 1. Two Varsity and one JV game per day (more games upon request). Cost is $200 per school. Flexible scheduling, great facilities. In order for TMSAA member schools to participate, they must be finished with the 2017-18 school year. They have a wide range of competition levels each year and have five spots remaining. Signal Mountain High School will be hosting their Annual Team Camp June 20-21. Cost is $50 per game. They have two full size courts in air-conditioned gyms and will use TSSAA officials. All classification levels are welcome. They will do their best to accommodate requests with regards to the level of competition that you will face. You do not have to commit to both days. Lebanon High School and Watertown High School will host a boys’ basketball team camp May 31 - June 1. They are very excited about this opportunity and welcome you to their camp. The games will be held at Lebanon High School, Watertown High School, and many other sites in and around the Lebanon area. Prices for camp are Varsity teams, $300 (three games a day, total of six). Junior Varsity/Freshmen teams are $200 (two games a day, total of four games). If you are interested in more games the cost is $50 per game. Wayne County High School will host their Boys Basketball Team Camp June 17-20. There will be 10 Varsity games and 10 JV games guaranteed. Cost per player is $80, which includes accommodations in an air conditioned classroom as well as eight meals over your stay. Teams wishing to commute can play as many Varsity and JV games as desired for a per game fee. Webb School of Knoxville will be hosting their 12th Annual TSSAA Official's Boys Team Camp June 1-2. Each team will play two games per day (four total), but can play additional games upon coaches request. The cost is $180 for Varsity and $180 for JV. Games will have three TSSAA officials on Friday night, 6-10 PM, and Saturday, 9 AM - 2 PM. All other games will have two TSSAA officials. Cumberland County High School will be hosting their 6th Annual Lady Jet Basketball Team Camp June 20-21, 2018. This is a date change from an earlier post. There will be varsity and JV/freshmen divisions. Cost is $35 per game - certified officials, flexible scheduling, coaches' hospitality, and hotel discounts available. Oak Ridge High School is hosting two team camps.  Session 1 will be June 12-13 and Session 2 will be June 18-19. Two Games per day = four total. Cost is $200 for Varsity and $175 for JV. All games will have tow TSSAA officials. Concession stand will be provided. Games will be played in the air conditioned Wildcat Arena, ORHS Wellness Center, Robertsville Middle School, and Jefferson Middle School. Games can be added upon request. Ravenwood High School is hosting their 4th Annual Summer Team Camp June 4-6. They are 20 minutes south of Nashville, located right off of I-65. They have hundreds of restaurants, Cool Springs Mall, several hotels, movie theater, and more located only five miles from their campus. All games will be played at either their facility or Franklin High School (15 min away). The first two days of team camp are pool play and the last day of camp is a single elimination tournament.  They have two different divisions: gold and sliver, plus a JV Division.  There are no player fees and you can participate in the first two days of camp or all three days of camp. Shelbyville Central High School will be hosting their Eaglette Camp June 3 -6 & June 18-21.  A $100 nonrefundable team deposit must be mailed in separately and received no later than June 1. The deposit will hold your team a spot on the schedule. Commuters: $50 per player; Campers: $85 per player.  Each team is guaranteed two Varsity games and two JV games per day.  On June 3, no meals will be served. Team camp #2 only dinner will be served on June 18. Cookeville High School will be hosting a middle school camp June 3-5 for boys and girls teams. Cost for 7/8 grade teams is $120 for three games. Schools that bring four or more teams will pay $100 per team. If you would like to add games it will be $30 per game. DeKalb County High School will be hosting their 5th Annual Middle School boys and girls basketball team camp June 11-13. Two games each day. Cost for three days is $150 per team. Lake County High School is hosting a June 14-15 for both boys and girls teams. They are offering a per day cost and a two day discounted cost for our camp. They have three gyms available to use for this camp. Concessions will be offered on site, as well as a hospitality room for all coaches.They are located in extreme Northwest Tennessee between Reelfoot Lake and the Mississippi River and are five minutes from Reelfoot Lake State Park, numerous resorts, and restaurants. The cost per day will be $150. Each team is guaranteed four games per day and potential for more if wanted or if JV games are requested. If you want to participate both days, a discounted rate of $275 will be offered.Finally, they are offering three different competitive levels: A, AA, AAA. Marshall County High School (Benton, KY) 28 days old

McNairy Central High School is hosting their high school team camp June 4-7. Team Fees for all games are $40/game. Teams may play as many games as they wish. Philadelphia Elementary School will be hosting their Annual Team Camp for Boys' and Girls' Middle School Varsity teams June 4-6. Cost is $30 per game with a minimum of two games and a maximum of six Games. They will do their best to accommodate everyone as far as game times to make things as convenient as possible. Red Boiling Springs High School will be hosting the Third Annual RBS Middle School Camp June 4-6. Cost is $90 for four games for two days. If you want to come all three days, more games can be scheduled for an additional per game cost. There will also be a JV division as well for the same cost. Scott High School is hosting a Middle School Team Camp May 31-June 2. Cost is $75 for three games - one day, $140 for six games - two days, and $175 for eight games - three days. JV games available upon request. TMSAA/TSSAA Certified Refs will be used. Hospitality Room will be available.
